Building a faster and easier way to recover, by everyday people in recovery.
We began working on Pink Cloud in February 2015 because our Founder & CEO Jason was desperate to get help from other people who had alcoholism. But, when he was going to 12 step meetings, a hard part of the process was the meetings were hard to find. He was also confused by a lot of the terms people used at meetings. When he looked at the apps out there at the time, he thought they were poorly designed. He had a simple idea: make it easier to find meetings and make really nice tools to manage recovery. He also thought it was important to never sell customer data because he knew some of the data could get customers into trouble, when all they were trying to do was get healthier.
Since launching the first version of Pink Cloud in November 2016, our app has been used by people in 107 countries. We are grateful we are able to serve our community and help people find meetings, track their sobriety, and stay connected without logging in, sharing data, or feeling watched.
While we are growing and starting to include resources that are not just 12 Step recovery focused, our goals are still simple: To make recovery accessible to anyone, anywhere, while keeping their journey safe and private.
